Wrong Place, Wrong Time is the first quest in the Main questline in the mod Project AHO.

Background[]

You are approached by an Orc who claims to be a member of an ancient Orcish cult, and asked for your service, only to be knocked unconscious and wake up as a slave in a mysterious underground city.

Walkthrough[]

This is the starting quest of Project AHO which begins once you are knocked out by Yargol gro-Shak's men.

You are autowalked through the city (just like the beginning of Skyrim) with an amulet around your neck that has taken away your free will, and take your place on the counter of a slave auction, to get bidded away.

Sold to the highest bidder - Shanath Selthri - your new master answers any questions you have, attunes your amulet of suppression with his rules, then lets you out of your cage to take a walk.

Bugs/Known Issues[]

Some users (those in VR, as well as those who have installed mods which have bad scripting) may find themselves unable to move during the scene after waking up in the cage and being sent to the auction block.

Try any of these Solutions:

  • Flat out just wait and do nothing, and you may be teleported to the stage (This method is needed in VR no matter what)
  • Or use the in-game Wait function (Default: "T" on keyboard, "Back" on Xbox)
  • Alternatively, if you can hear the auction is running, you can try using "tlc" in console command, to move your self to the stage, manually, and then disable "tlc"
  • If all else fails, you can always disable all the mods that you don't need immediately, and then after the scene has ended, reenable

CTD[]

If you keep crashing right when you're brought into Sadrith Kegan, during Shaglak's monologue, try opening the console and enter "enableplayercontrols" (minus the quotation marks). Move a bit out of the way, and you should be fine.

SOS is incompatible and requires the unofficial SOS patch for Project AHO.
