Umbra is a mighty sword (lore) added by mod The Gray Cowl of Nocturnal.
Acquiring Umbra[]
Umbra can be obtained in 'Imperial City Prison'. After crossing the two bridges, Dragonborn will get to an area with statue of Clavicus Vile behind iron bars. Using Ancient Vision here will make the iron bars vanish and the Umbra Sword will appear on the altar. Activating it will teleport Dragonborn into an unknown location in Oblivion.
Here the Dragonborn will be attacked by The Ghost of Lenwin and The Ghost of Orc Warrior, both having Umbra. But their Umbra cannot be looted, and will stay on the ground after their death.
Above, Dragonborn can find Naenra Waerr working on forge. In the forge lies another Umbra. Activating it will add Umbra to the Dragonborn’s inventory and a portal will open to return to the Imperial City Prison.
