Objectives[]
- Find Jo'vanni
- Why did you kill Jo'vanni? Jo'vanni just wanted to find Campaner'Ra!

- Take Campaner'Ra's pelt from Mar'so! Please, grant Jo'vanni's last wish!

Walkthrough[]
After reporting to Jacob, Altano will tell you to meet him in the Ragged Flagon in Riften. He will then direct you to search for the summoner while he finds the Daedra. The quest marker will lead you to the Ratway Warrens, where you will find a disheveled Jo'vanni ranting about attempting to summon a Daedra.
Jo'vanni will then attack the player. Upon searching his corpse, you will fall into his memory in Jo'vanni's Dream Theater. Similar to Vaermina's Topor, your words will not be of your own, but another.
In this memory, Campaner'Ra wakes Jo'vanni up to eat breakfast. Then, as the scene changes, it is revealed that Mar'so killed and flayed Campaner'Ra out of jealousy. After ending the scene with Mar'so, Empusa will emerge and attack the player. After killing Empusa, the player is transported back to Tamriel.
Jo'vanni's spirit begs the player to retrieve Campaner'Ra's pelt from Mar'so, who can be found in Haelga's Bunkhouse. After defeating Mar'so, loot his corpse for the pelt and go back down to the Ratway Warrens and place it in Jo'vanni's corpse. This will then conclude the quest.
