|Oblivon mods were created for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. They may add new content, modify existing content in the game, or both. There are many different types, ranging from follower to retexturing to new quests. One of the best known places to find these mods is the Oblivion Nexus.|
|It is recommended that, if using the Nexus, to use a mod manager to correctly and easily download and install/uninstall mods (Nexus has its own manager that is integrated with the site). Another useful aid is LOOT (Load Order Optimizing Tool).|
