No Mercy is a quest added by VIGILANT. The player is tasked with finding and killing witches in Ivarstead.

Walkthrough[]
Head to the Witch's Pond which is just outside of the Alchemist's Shack. Go down the path until you come upon Witch's Outlook and head inside the Witch's Shack. There, you will meet Carene and Lilian who are a small family making medicine for their husband/father. If you talk to Carene and tell her you're a Vigilant, she will turn hostile, forcing the player to kill the both of them and to lose Karma.
To remain Karma neutral, ask Carene what she is doing. Return to Altano and tell him there are no witches in Ivarstead. His demeanor will take a darker turn. And demand you go back to kill them. Upon further refusal he will turn hostile turning into a "Wicked One" on first defeat.
If you successfully kill Altano, Carene will come into the chamber where you kill Altano and confronted you upon killing her husband. You will fail the No Mercy quest but it will be replace by Art Of Mercy quest. What ever the option of dialog you choose, there will be a fight with Carene. After defeating her you may leave her alive (This option will directly bring you to Act 2 - The Blood Matron) or Kill her (This option will directly bring you to Act 4 - Coldharbour)
After Carene and Lilian are killed, the player will receive The Curse of Stendarr. After exiting the Shack, the player can meet Reyda, the real witch of Ivarstead. This leads to the quest The Endless Fall.
