Marcus Bruiant is an Imperial Noble who is the father of Julius and husband to Julia. He is first met in the main hall of the Bruiant Estate South Wing. Julius' shadow is looming over his corpse.
In life, Marcus made his wealth by breeding war dogs. He met his wife in Markarth, where they got married. After a complicated relationship Marcus sought to get a divorce. Julia took Julius with her out to the lake where she died and Julius changed into a dark child.

- A corrupt version of him can be met in the Blood Curse of Shivering. He will be meditating behind a cage door and will attack the player with an iron dagger on sight.
