Gronndal Grove is actually an area where an old dead tree exists in the middle of a stony swamp. The tree is surrounded with some ancient ritual stones that had no power anymore. There are some miners nearby that have camped outside an ebony mine. Inside the mine a spriggan has killed few miners already and the player is asked to exterminate the spiritual tree-like creature. Once this is done, the player can safely explore the cave and loot whatever treasure he or she finds. The player can mine some ebony ore as well.
The cave has two layers but only the top is accessible. Falling down to the lower layer will be a lethal leap.
